This Refund Policy explains the conditions, timelines, deductions and process applicable to refund requests for PREPON course fees, enrolments, classes, materials and related educational services.

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which PREPON may process refunds for course fees, enrolments, classes, learning resources and related educational services.
By enrolling in a PREPON course, making a payment or accessing our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only for the first instalment of the course fee and only within the refund window mentioned below.
A refund request must be submitted within 10 calendar days from the date of enrolment.
Refunds are processed on a pro-rata basis, after considering the classes, materials, mock tests, counselling, mentoring, resources and services already accessed or availed by the student.
2. Non-Refundable Payments
The following are non-refundable:
- Subsequent instalments paid after the first instalment
- Fees paid after the refund window has expired
- Amounts for services already delivered or accessed
- Amounts deducted towards taxes, payment gateway charges, operational costs and administrative costs
- Fees for special workshops, one-time events, test series, downloadable resources or short-term programmes, unless PREPON expressly states otherwise in writing
- Payments made under a clearly marked non-refundable offer, special batch or customised plan
3. Deductions from Refund Amount
The following may be deducted from the refundable amount, based on usage:
- Live classes attended
- Recorded classes accessed
- Study materials accessed, issued, downloaded or collected
- Worksheets, assignments, handouts or printed materials issued
- Mock tests, sectional tests or analysis sessions availed
- Counselling, mentoring, interview, GD, WAT or PI sessions availed
- Access to online portals, groups, apps, dashboards or student resources
- Administrative and operational expenses
- GST, taxes and statutory deductions
- Payment gateway, bank or transaction charges, where applicable
The final refundable amount will be calculated by PREPON after reviewing the student’s enrolment date, payment details and service usage.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a valid refund request is received:
- PREPON will verify the request and respond within 5 working days.
- If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
- Refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect, depending on the bank, payment gateway or payment provider.
- After a refund is processed, the student’s access to classes, materials, portals, groups, mocks and related services may be terminated or deactivated.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, email to admin@prepon.in with the subject line:
Refund Request – [Student Name] – [Course Name]
Include the following details:
- Student’s full name
- Registered phone number and email ID
- Course name
- Date of enrolment
- Amount paid
- Payment method
- Proof of payment
- Reason for requesting refund
- Bank/payment details, if specifically requested by PREPON
Incomplete requests may take longer to process.
6. Course Cancellation by PREPON
If PREPON cancels a course or batch before meaningful service delivery begins, PREPON may offer:
- Transfer to another batch
- Transfer to another course
- Credit adjustment
- Full or partial refund, depending on the situation
The appropriate remedy will be decided based on the course status, service delivery and student preference where feasible.
7. No Refund for Misconduct or Misuse
PREPON may deny refund requests where access or enrolment is terminated due to:
- Misconduct
- Abuse or harassment
- Non-payment of dues
- Sharing of materials or class links
- Unauthorised recording
- Fraudulent activity
- Misrepresentation
- Violation of PREPON’s Terms & Conditions
8. Policy Changes
PREPON may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The applicable Refund Policy will generally be the version published on the date of enrolment, unless a later version is more favourable or legally required.
